Tim Plains
A Vox Pathfinder 10 lol Anybody ever try one? It's tiny!! It's a 10W solid state amp and it sounds like a 10W solid state amp...but hey, it'll be perfect for when the wife's asleep. Actually, it doesn't sound half bad for what it is. An impulse buy. I was up in North Bay for a few days. Saw it in a music store and had to have it.
Hall
Never heard one, Are Nine. But, I don't think you could have gone wrong; or that your wife will sleep through it! Groper
deepblue
Looks cool. I use my Valvestate 2000 w/headphone jack for those quiet times.
ledzep59
I like it. My "quiet amp" is a marshall micro-stack that runs on a 9v battery. It doesn't sound very good, but electric guitars sound better plugged into something rather than nothing. How much did you spend?
Tim Plains
$85 Canadian

Tim Plains
Well, so much for the Vox Pathfinder. The thing's less than two weeks old and it started getting staticy. Oh, it found a path, alright...right back to the store. I traded it in on a 15W Fender Frontman. I need a little cheap amp for nighttime use. I don't care about tone so much but it has to be reliable. Let's see how the Fender pans out.

Tim Plains
No, I often move around when I play and find headphones bothersome.
