Kudos to Gibson Customer Service

When I bought my True Vintage Southern Jumbo, it was supposed to come with the brown case with lavender/pink lining. Instead, it came with the regular black Modern Classic case. No big deal, to me, a case is a case. I just wanted Gibson to know that it shouldn't advertise what it isn't going to produce. So I sent an e-mail to Gibson Customer Service. I really didn't expect to get an answer from them. Anyway, a service representative Benton Cummings sent me an e-mail back and said that he would look into it. After a month has gone by, I received the correct case for my guitar by FedEx today! Shipped directly from the plant in Bozeman! I've been playing Gibsons for thirty years and when I needed them to step up to the plate, they did with flying colors! So publicly I say- Thanks very much to Mr. Benton Cummings and the Customer Service Dept. at Gibson.
