jkdsteve
Is there any way to clearly identify a Traditional, apart from the words 'Traditional' on the truss rod cover?
Blackie
Welcome to the forum The serial number on the back of the head stock will help with date and the body color and features will tell if it is a trad

Blackie
Might have been changed, looks like a lot of mods were done on it.
NeoConMan
Here's the deal. If the guitar was built in late 2008 or 2009 (check the serial) and it's NOT a new Standard with all the baloney they have, then the odds are it's a Traditional. Get the serial and call Gibson 24/7 at 800-444-2766. Choose automated option 1 and wait for them to answer. Regarding the Ebay ad; Looks like a decent deal, lotsa mods usually scare me but the guy has 100% feedback. Price is okay especially when the price of parts is considered.
