The Barrett family, (in particular Syd’s sister Rosemary Breen) are behind the site which is supportive of The Syd Barrett Fund, set up to raise funds for arts projects in the mental health sector. bonzoboy Posted October 5, 2009 Share Posted October 5, 2009 It's about time someone dedicated a site to this largely ignored"mad"genius "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" and "Saucerful of Secrets"are a testament to his musical ability from the beautiful"Julia Dream" to "Astromony Dominy" he certainly made an indelible mark on the psychedelic music scene that crossed into many other genres.
