bkharmony
And why do those stars look so fake? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230384744082&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123#ht_940wt_1060
mooboo
I don't see a serial number and the stars look janky!! The bridge pins also look like they are about to pop out and the electronics might poke someone's eye out. I love Gibson, but not that one.. Taylor Player
Never seen one either... a bit too funky for me. I don't see anything that would say fake and the guy is offering servicemen a discount.....I am guessing it was a real model or custom shopt type thing. I mean really, if it was a fake, would you give a serviceman a break on the price. Who would want an angry Marine after them?!?!?!? :) (I hear they have guns....!) Modac
The Star was introduced in 1991. It was basically a fancy cutaway, electrified j180 with stars and bling. It was replaced by the Starburst. The Starburst was first offered in 1992 as a regular production model. They were all electrified. There were 3 levels, the Studio (sitka/maple) the Standard (sitka/maple) and the Elite (maple/maple), with a mahogany X brace.
TommyK
There appears to be some inclusion or seperation under the clear finish around the stars and HS logo.
Red 333
There appears to be some inclusion or seperation under the clear finish around the stars and HS logo. I've seen that happen before, unfortunately. Red
