My new Strat neck came from Warmoth today.

-AAA flame maple

-Rosewood board

-10-16" compound neck with SRV style back.

-6105 Stainless steel frets.

I cant wait to bolt her on!...I love the flame.

You know what I DONT like?...$80 in fees when it arrived!

What was the 80 in fees for?

Thanks guys...

Im in Canada. I have to pay "Provincial" sales tax ($46.27), as well as a "Goods and Services" tax ($28.92)

and $5 for handling. The actual neck before taxes was $578

So much for free trade huh?

Very cool!! =D>

What type of rosewood is that and when's it going on a guitar...and which guitar is it going on?

Thanks guys...

Tim, Its going on my John Mayer Strat body. Its Indian Rosewood. I wanted Brazilian, but being a fellow Canuck you

understand why thats not an option.

Im going to try and do it this weekend. I need to drill holes for the tuners etc... I dont like to be rushed so ill have loads of time

on Saturday. Its also going to be a challenge with the Gotoh side adjustment mechanism. Never had to deal with anything like that.

Ill post when complete.
