Thundergod
I think it's time Gibson gave me a signature line :- Les Paul and SG Both of them with: Nickel TP-6 bridge, I know they only make them in gold and chrome but it would be a signature so I'd go with nickel. Kahler style after the nut locking nut, nickel, or floyd rose style locking nut. Kluson tuners, nickel, love the way they look. The word "Thunder" on TRC. Holy in the headstock. Bound neck, headstock not bound. Schaller straplock system, nickel L.R. Baggs piezo bridge, nickel (they offer chrome and gold only but one of slash's sigs came with nickel) L.R. Baggs preamp. 2 volume 2 tone controls Features to be found in the Les Paul only White p-rails pickups. Bound body. Either Blue Sparkle finish or iceburst/bloueburst whatever it's called original robot finish with all plastic and binding white. White-ish pearloid block neck inlays. White reflector knobs. Features to be found on the SG only Unfinished back of neck. Creme binding on neck sides only (no headstock or body binding). Bridge pickup: Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB humbucker. Neck pickup: Seymour Duncan SH-2n humbucker. Pickup covers: either nickel or creme pickups with no covers. Natural burst SG finish (the same that was available till last year for the SG standard). Black/white/black pickguard. Normal trapezoid inlays. Black reflector knobs. LP MSRP: $6400 SG MSRP: $5300 at least give me a drawing of them so I can droll over it till the day I die :-

Dub-T-123
If I had a signature SG it would be a classic white '61 with a tortoiseshell pickguard. It would have cream binding on the neck and regular inlays. Nickel hardware with short maestro. Nickel Kluson-style tuners. Either créme '57s or nickel covered '57s. Either witchhat knobs or regular silver topped tophats. Oh yeah and an ABR-1.
Thundergod
I never really liked white SGs... don't know why, they look great but not enough for me to consider paying extra for one.

I guess street price would be a little less than a historic reissue (for a change, I hate how they overprice signatures)

Thundergod
Carvin makes some great guitars... some guys like them some dont. I've played a couple and they were really nice, sounded good and felt as real guitars, not like those chambered and non 59 thingies people like to call guitars nowadays :-

Riverside
Signature axe? Buddy Guy talks about strumming a piece of wire from a window screen across a section of siding. How much would one of those be worth?

Thundergod
Your prices are absurd!! I wouldn't pay more than $3' date='200 for a Thunder Paul.[/quote'] ...you wouldn't have to pay for it... And that's the MSRP, street proce would vary acording to demand, which would mean you should be able to get one for free if you buy 2 squiers :-
