elvendio
You can play your wav files in windows vista on your windows media player. But if you wan't to convert to smaller mp3 files you could use a program like cakewalk sonar or mabe find a free converter on the internet I think there is a free one on creative labs web site under media source 5. Thundergod
there are free converters on the net, i dont have the addresses here but can post them tomorrow night (going out of town in 2 hours, will be back tomorrow night). if you are constantly recording ideas you should buy yourself a daw... i think cubase LE can be found for about $99 new... and its full of features. Cakewalk is a little easier to use if you intend to do midi (do you?). if you en up with any version of cubase (where you can record, arrange, edit, mix, and have too much fun) i can give you a crash course online and you'll be recording in no time. (there you can chose wheter to bounce as wav, mp3 or tons of different formats.
elvendio
I recently got Cakewalk Sonar 7 and must say it's the best sounding daw I have used. You can download a free trial from cakewalk or you could find other ways to try it free uhhummmrrr with special downloads.
daveinspain
Down load itunes from Apple, its free and it's for Mac or PC. In the itunes preferences or properties you can choose what formate to convert or import audio files to... It's very easy to use and again its free... Gibson CS
Thanks guys... Not only for the info, but for not yelling at me for going WAY out of forum.
Stewie
I would expect that most of them are played on Gibson Les Pauls so you are not "technically" out of forum!
Gibson CS
Stewie... Thank you. Yes, most of it Les Paul based. Some Strat, and drums as well.
