Tangle Free Chords?

You don't have to be rocking out on stage to use a wireless... They are around $200 to $250 new or around $100 used. No chord no tangles..

there is some merit to this. even though expensive at first (brand new - 8-10x more than a decent cable) they really free you up. tangled cords are nasty and you dont have to be OCD to be annoyed by it. i just paid $45 for a planet waves cord and it still tangles. i'm thinking wireless too.

Great post! I learned to do this early on and it saves your cables from kinks and tangles. It's also a lot neater when packing up. Makes me cringe when I see cats doing the wrap around the arm/elbow thing.

I think he's making it overly complicated. Lay out the cord so it is essentially straight and unfettered as it rotates. Grasp on end, then coil it around the grasping fingers in a loop that it naturally wants to form, then continue wrapping in the same direction, one wrap after the other until it is all wrapped up. The loose end is rotating as your coil. QED.

I'm gonna try the 'reverse wrap', or whatever it's called, but I think it has been over thunk.
