Lair22 Posted April 5, 2008 Share Posted April 5, 2008 I bought a 2003 Custom 57 Faded Cherry used. It is in perfect condition except when shipped to me they put the opened plastic envelope w/ the COA in it in the bottom of the case (Doh!). There are a few "smudges" where the adhesive from the envelope was in contact with the finish. Gibson pump polish doesn't do the trick. What can I use to remove the adhesive w/o hurting the finish on this spectacular guitar? (BTW, the sound is like God talking - all mahog is not a bad thing!) Thanks for any help!
