ShredAstaire Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I would never let the disposition of another individual affect my decision as to what musical instruments I would purchase. Well sir, that's where you and I differ. I believe employees (volunteer or not) have a responsibility to uphold the brand they represent. But hey, that's me. You do what makes you happy.
Bluemoon Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I only Have an 8th Grade Education (Really I'm a Drop-out and a Long time Partyer) An 8th grade education because you had to leave to support your family or had a learning disability=respect An 8th grade education because you "partyered" too hard=well, not so much.
duane v Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Well sir' date=' that's where you and I differ. You do what makes you happy.[/quote'] I respect that....;) I play and purchase different brands, and I hold each manufacturer accountable for quality and service.... So in being a Gibson customer I hold them to the same standard, and I've been a delighted customer for 37 years[cool]

duane v Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Even I try. Great post. Only thing I have trouble coming to grips with is placing guitars in freezers and tanning beds to prematurely age them[blink] ....... I just don't get that...;)
Riverside Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Only thing I have trouble coming to grips with is placing guitars in freezers and tanning beds to prematurely age them[blink] ....... I just don't get that...;) Really? I've got a MIM Ash tele that needs to spend a few hours in a tanning bed to get that "aged but not aged" kind of yellow on the neck. I think. No, Chacarron.

TommyK Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Just curious: Is anyone out there an HR guy or otherwise involved with hiring new people? Has anyone listed being a forum moderator on their resume? "Moderator for the Vintage Ball Point Pen forum from 2005 - present"
TommyK Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I find the above flag raising parody in poor taste, on the Eve of Veteran's Day, especially.
