Wild Bill
I am looking at a used 2006 at a local guitar shop. Is this a low end guitar for Gibson? I'm not too familiar with the different models. It does have electronics as I guess they all did from the factory? Are there different grades in this model? Any information would be greatly appreciated...Thank you...Bill

You will find different models of the Hummingbird and yes, I believe the artist model is on the lower end of the Hummingbird food chain. It should still be a fine guitar, though. guitarstrummer
I found this link for new ones at Musician's Friend. I believe Guitar Center may also carry them. You can get an idea of the specs and pricing from this link. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibson-Hummingbrid-Artist-Acoustic-Guitar?sku=512104
Al Zimmerman
Hi everyody! Just a new member from Spain with an incredible '06 J-45. I've seen that beautiful Hummingbird Artist and wish I had the chance to buy one here in Spain! I've contacted Musiciansfriend and Music123 to see if they would ship it internationally, because it seems they don't... :-( BTW, great forum you have here! Best regards, AL PS: Excuse any language mistake, since English is not my mother tongue!
