Hi,

I notice that the Custom Shop web site states that the only comes in TV Yellow but I see them in TV Yellow, TV White, and Faded Cherry.

What were the actual colors offered back in 1960? Are there any other color options that we could ask our dealers for?

Thanks

Mike

I just got a "1960 LP Special Double Cut" in "TV White". It's a 2006 make so it had been sitting at the shop for a couple of years, I don't know if they still make them that color now. The only other TV White guitars I have seen are both Custom Shop Non Reverse Firebirds, 1 w/3 P90s, and 1 w/3 Mini buckers. There may be others I just haven't seen them. I don't think TV white is a color from back then but I may be mistaken. TV yellow was developed back in the '50s because white was too bright for the B/W Televisions or something like that.
