Duende
My wife and I took my parents to see Steve Martin and his Blue grass band The Steep Canyon Rangers earlier this week. I have always loved Steve Martin's humour but expected him to be just putting on a musical show. Well, yes the music was jaw dropping and Steve's band were just superb, but the cherry on the cake was that the zany Steve from yesteryear was back! Steve introduced one song with "this song is one about melancholy and sadness...a bit like my agents face when I said I was going to do a banjo tour" The music was just superb and set the hall on fire. It was music that like Gypsy jazz, exuded unadulterated fun! Here is some video from the concert I loved him when he was Cowboy Dan in Parenthood[biggrin] ;) Matt

Duende
Have you seen him tap dance? I think guys like that can do what ever they want. Steve is very versatile isn't he! Him and Patrick Stewart seem ageless!! Matt
Murph
I remember it from years ago when he was doing standup. Great stuff. He ties a mean balloon, too.

Mr. Natural
I think he polished his banjo chops when he toured with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band back in the early '70s. I saw him when I was in school in '74 or '75. By then, he was already pretty impressive on the banjo.
