Here's Ginger...

Aight guys, here's some pics of the Gingerburst LP Std that I bought from MF for a lot less than 2500 bucks. The pics on MF do NOT do this color justice. I was pleasantly suprised at how flamed she was. It remains to be seen if my wife will be pleasantly surprised....

Is that the one that was adverstised in the flyer for 1799. I am pissed. That is a sweet guitar. I would be all over that if we could get them up her in the White North.

sure is. but i noticed some problems with it...some of the binding if iffy, the frets cut me and the wood at the 1st fret is really bad (it looks eroded away...)

it may be going back....

That really is too bad!

Your wife found out huh? Is that what she told you to say?

#-o

Seriously, I wonder if that was why they were such a great price?

Didn't someone else order one after you squared him away with the flyer code? Too bad she has issues, maybe you can take some of that $700 savings and repair the problems. Great color and flame. It does look more cherry than I would have expected, given the photos and the name.

well, after careful consideration and some *ahem* advice....ginger is going back to MF.

i just couldn't reconcile the blemishes on the binding and fretboard with the price. $1800 is a good price...but if a guitar is used, a return or blem, it should be advertised as such.

And if this guitar really was brand new, then Gibson should be ashamed.

But I won't lie: She has a gorgeous top and I'm kinda bummed.

PS: She didn't sound as good my Standard Faded. O:)/

I would agree with you there, and it certainly seems like it was used, return, or store demo. As you said it is a shame because that was a beautiful flame top!
