bluezguy Posted November 15, 2009 Share Posted November 15, 2009 I had a rant going on about my stock bridge pickup fading out on my 2003 Firebird V awhile ago. Well, that problem has been resolved by me finding one on craigslist... but now... since I use a number of Gibson's P-94s in various other guitars of mine, I've decided to try a Gibson P-90 Soapbar in the same bridge position on the 'bird'. I know a number of you guys are doing this to your Firebirds already. My question is... will this P-90 simply drop in the stock Firebird routed hole or will more cutting of the wood be required?
