The serial number refers in our database to an Explorer in vintage sunburst, from 1990, with chrome hardware, made in Nashville. Your guitar was in fact a predecessor of the 76 Explorer (see attached), to be completely correct in the model designation. In 1990 this model was still called "Explorer reissue" (see also attached pricelist from back then). If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me again.
