radioman Posted November 19, 2009 Share Posted November 19, 2009 i've got what i think is an unusual les paul deluxe, was wondering if anyone has ever seen one like it. I bought it in 1975 and understood it to be a '71. Serial number bears that out I believe. It has no "les paul model" script on the headstock and is wired for stereo with two outputs. A local vintage guitar dealer told me that he believed the stereo wiring job was done at the gibson factory, and that it was most likely a one off guitar, a prototype or made by a gibson employee for himself.
