tnathantaylor
Hi there I'm interested in finding a pre '55 J-45. If anyone has one they were thinking of sellling please let me know. I have a J-45 Adi Top TV, which is a wonderful guitar, but I played an older one the other day and loved it. I'd be happy with a player, it doesn't have to be a collector. Thanks Tom

brians356
All J-45s from early 50s are collectors, really clean ones just go for a premium. Let's work from the other end, how much are you willing to spend? Brian

Guth
Here's a '52 listed on the Portland area craigslist. I know nothing about the guitar or the seller, just saw the posting: 1952 J-45 Guth
Rambler
Why a pre 55 ? My 56 is a killer! Crossover point, Slopemeister. After 55 tall and thin braces instead of scalloped, and big PG. Not to say post-55 are dogs, yours being a case in point, or pre-55 specs are all solid gold, but if the man's gotta have it...
tnathantaylor
I'm located in Canada. I was hoping to spend around 3500.00 for a player. I want the pre 55' because of the scalloped bracing, and the ones I've played from that period have been great. I think I have found a couple worth pursuing. Thanks for the comments.
