bbcdas
I'm trying to get an idea of the value of this guitar. Grandma bought it for Grandpa new in 1998. No electronics. Excellent condition, all original case, paperwork, etc. Original shop price tag was $3800 (still in the case), but I'm not sure what she actually paid for it. It is now part of an estate that is being liquidated and I am wondering what it is actually worth. Thanks, Bo
DanvillRob
Wholly dependent on condition.... you might check ebay to see what they actually sell for. Do you have pic? (there are a great many more people on here with better feel for the value of your guitar). Bob
bbcdas
No pics now. It is like new. I can't find any blemishes. I looked at ebay first, and am watching this: Hummingbird Thanks, Bo
DanvillRob
If your Hummingbird is an actual 60's guitar, (the one you're watching is a reissue, methinx...it was made in 2004), it'll probably worth more if it's really in as good of condition as you say. jannusguy
if i read this right, he says it was bought new in 1998. so it's '98 60's reissue. should be easy enough to find some examples as a price guide.
DanvillRob
Yes.... I missed that 1998 part...so it is a reissue..... and the ebay guitar would be close! I HATE the reissue thing..... you never know if it's old or new.....
