Don't agree with the Bob Seger cover. No one beats him. Listen to his Live version from Live Bullet. Kickin'.

 

As a Michigan native, I am w/ you 100%. Nobody beats Bob Seger. His live version of Turn the Page is one of my favorite songs. Captures what it is like to be on tour.

Sorry, I love Mike Bloomfield's playing as much as the next cat, but that version lacks the tension that is in the Donovan version: mellow verses and then the chorus explodes.

No issue.. I listened to both versions again before I posted and, I don't know why but, there's just something about the "Super Session" version that "catches" me..
