...and I've got an option for potted or unpotted coils?

Tim says unpotted are brighter, more dynamic and extremely 'alive' feeling whereas potted are a better option for players using alot of preamp gain or higher gain rigs.

O:)

I'm confused, what would ya'll go for????

A buddy of mine swears by BKP and Bulldog pups and uses both brands in all his axes - both brands handwound in the UK which is great to see UK companies doing well in the US dominated markets, i understand Hayden who runs Bulldog used to work at BKP and Matamp too.

Back on topic i guess its down to the type of music your playing, Hi gain i'd say go potted or at least forget the covers!! Blues/Rock - it might be interesting to get them un potted, i guess the BKP chaps would always pot them for you afterwards if they were getting to be a nuisance?? Have you asked if they'd do them f.o.c. if you decided to return them??
