Andre S
Very nice. But not best ever. I love the flame on pearly gates. Nah, it doesn't show up as nice, there isn't as nice a contrast, which contributes to the flamed top effect. Of course if someone ( Are Nine) chose to disagree, then pics of Pearly's sister, would be welcome
BigKahune
Very nice. Then finish color really enhances the look. :- But the best ever? Debatable. There's some guys on this forum that could compete on that level. :-

L5Larry
That is some serious flame. For my personal taste I would prefer a little more sunburst color around the edge, not so much of the "faded" look. Here's a pic of a pretty flamey chunck of maple that got pulled out of the wood pile for the back of my L-5. I'll bet you LP guys wish that it had been made into a Les Paul top (or two). pinefd
That looks to be a very nice guitar, as are most of the guitars Mark sells. But if it had the best flame ever, I would have bought it! (Actually, if it had the best flame ever, it probably never would have been for sale to begin with...or at least, not publicly.) Frank
