pippy Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 I remember there was disbelief in some circles when Peter Green related how he used a brand new Strat on Albatross. I remember reading a post on another LP forum, written by one of PG's relatives (a nephew, I think), that the Strat was only used for the slide part. Apparently, on Albatross, he laid it flat and played it like a lap-steel. In the centre-spread of the 1975 album 'The History of Fleetwood Mac - Vintage Years' there is a snap of PG playing a pre-CBS Strat in the more traditional way!
