Poppy
Thanks, swleary, this is my first Gibson, but I am getting GAS bad. Thinking about getting a bigger amp(just have a 10 watt, now). I just play for myself so I do not need anything big.But I want another LP, maybe a LP Standard Gold Top or a '58 VOS (another fat neck).

swleary
Your quite welcome Poppy, I've been looking up R8's too for the future. Standard possibly but I really like the R8. If you can't decide on either then they have these too. swleary
About the amp, those new Marshall Class 5's look very promising. There is also the new Vox Ac4tv . I've really wanted to try out one of the new Marshalls but still not available in my area. I too don't go out to play and if i do it's just to a buddies house. He normally comes here with his nice dbl neck.
Poppy
Yes looking at the Marshall's, also looking at the new Fender Bandmaster VM (head, 2x12 40 watts). Just big enough. But, like I said I play for myself and I am most likely one of those guy's that in the end will have 20 guitars and at most can play 5 songs. I just like guitars. It is one of those psy. things. I am good with it and most important, so is my wife.
Tim Plains
Those stands are nitro nightmares. You should wrap every bit that comes into contact with your guitar in (white) cotton. Poppy & swleary, both guys have new Traditionals and both guys are already talking about reissues. I see major GAS pains for the two of you. What amps do you guys presently have? pippy
Nice gradation and colour. Looks really nice - very like the archetypal 1959 we all know and love. Many congrats.
Shnate McDuanus
Looks like a beautiful guitar, Poppy! Time to play the hell out of it!
Poppy
Yes thanks, Are Nine. I do not normally put it on the stand, I olay it or put in the case. Just trying to get some pictures. Currently I have a small 10 watt amp.
Poppy
Thanks Pippy, and XDemonknight. Yes, Gibson said that the 09 Traditional has a '57 neck and pickups.
Tim Plains
I read that you have a small, 10 watt amp above. I meant what is it? Fender, Epiphone, SS, tube, etc? There was a thread here not too long ago, something like - small amp, big tone. Very true!
Poppy
Sorry, Are Nine it is an old Kustom, '86 or '87. It has a clean channel and a drive channel, three knobs: volume. voice, and gain.
swleary
I have a Vox Vt30 and love it so far but later on I will be getting either a Vox Ac15 or a Marshall class 5 My money is tied up in my bass stuff :-
swleary
Poppy you really should post pics in the Les Paul forum, people normally go there alittle more
swleary
ARE NINE, I think I speak for Poppy and myself regarding the bigger necks on the traditional. Once you go fat, you never go back lol
