RUSTYM38 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I need some help with decoding this serial number on a guitar I am looking at. The serial number is 91140536 so I know it is a 1990 model and it is supposed to be an SG ? It only has three knobs instead of four, like all SG's I have seen, so can someone help me out in figuring out what this guitar really is? Thanks!
Larsson Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Your guitar was made at the Nashville Plant, TN, USA April 24th, 1990 Production Number: 236 thats the info i could find, may not be helpful but is intresting to know imo
Blackie Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Post some pics so we can see it. There are a few models with 3 knobs.
GuitarJunkie Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Call 1-800-4GIBSON and give them the serial number. They're open 24/7 and they'll tell you exactly what it is.
