dokosan
Purchased an 08 LP Studio (ebony black, chrome hardware) 12/08 and had it set up probably in Feb or Mar 09. Just this week, it went way out and is back being setup. The setup is done be a real pro, not worried about that. I am a beginner and playing a couple hours every day but the guitar rarely leaves the house and is not abused. Any thoughts from those more experienced on why this is happening and how to reduce frequency of setups (which are expensive)? Thanks, Dokosan

Thanks, Dokosan[/quote'] Sounds like the neck is moving around, cause the bridge is'nt going to move without you adjusting it. Is the temperture and such consistant where the guitar is kept and played ? Also you should read up on how to setup your own guitar.
max2343
Typical Soft Mahogany. It's colder out, you got the heat on in your house. That makes the air around dryer. Learn how to do it yourself.
dokosan
Thanks for the replies. Just got it back and it plays great. (Guitar was purchased from Music123 which is authorized Gibson dealer.) I guess the answer is to learn how to set up myself.

Lowdown
I think he meant to get a pet lizard instead? Or maybe a lizard's to blame? Or maybe he was just shot and he's trying to tell us,before dying, that Lizard did it? Or maybe he's....****ed if I know!
