SketchyEtchy
I have an Epiphone SG just wondering if you can put a Gibson scratch plate on, i hate the little half plate.
Blackie
A full bat wing guard from Gibson will not fit on an Epi the toggle switch is higher up on an Epi and the guard will overlap on it. Try and find a guard from an Epi 66 reissue SG or a special order.
Gibsonfreak909
Why would you opt for the less expensive fulplate standard sg pickguard, when the 61 half plates is the saught after look? Each to his own I guess.
Blackie
To some the bat wing is the deal...it means standard to them.....to me it is a manufacturing shortcut to hide routing that used to be precise and concealed with no pick guard as Gibson used to do. cinnamonvx
i Found a way if you go http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ and print out the pickguard without resizing try to see if it fits. if you take out the sqaure things around the pickups and u use the pickguard (scratch blade) as it cuz theres hole for the screw it should work just dont screw in all the holes cuz u might hit a wire or something
