VBB
Hi, have a question for you. I have a GOR that I purchased new in December of 07, but I never registered it in my name. I have all the paper work, the original receipt and of course I'm the original owner. How do I do that now? Is it necessary and are there any other reasons to register? thanks, Val
CharlieP
The question is why didn't you register it? I did mine online. It was simple to do and protects you. You should go to the online registration and get it done now. If you need anything done to it in the future it is established that you are the original owner. Git'r Dun! VBB
Originally, I didn't register it because I wanted to keep all the paperwork. Didn't know I could do it online. Where is the online registration site?
niemepet
I also did online registration and got this answer from Customer Service, Gibson Europe: "Thank you for your interest in Gibson guitars. We suggest you contacting the official International Distributor" I didn't contact Distributor, because I didn't have any issues with guitar... CharlieP
Search Gibson.com. It is there somewhere. I would have to do it to tell you. Do the legwork.
OverG
Try: http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Support/WarrantyRegistration/GibsonUSARegistrationForm/ Good Luck. It worked for my 3 Gibsons. OverG

jamman
I've always used the online registation and it works fine. when you get to that page look for the international reg. after completing the form they will e-mail you a conformation that you can print out. So you have a record of it. works very well. It does help if there are any issues you might have with your guitar.
