Not in this economy, I think you could get a J-45 for close to that!! Lot of good deals out there!

that's pretty darn high I'd say. He'll almost certainly have to back off of that price for it to sell.

For that price, I'd pay the extra $200 or so and get a J-45.

 

I'm looking for a WM-45, but $1000 is the most I'd pay, and it would have to be perfect.

I have a Gibson j30 90 anniversery got it in 1987 for 250$ any body now price of it now great condition

well, I've had the WM45 a number of years now and haven't felt the need to look at other slope shoulder dreads. It's very light and responsive. The only nitpick I have with it is that the neck feels just a little small to me but I like a bigger neck in general. As others have said, it is a J45 and I can say that when I was comparing them before buying, I couldn't hear any difference at all.
