nikko18
Was there ever such thing as a Gibson made Jeff Beck humbucker? My dad tells me there was and that he had it in this guitar which I am remaking. But when I search for "Gibson Jeff Beck humbucker" on google and such all I get is the Seymour duncan JBs. surfpup
Pretty sure you are only going to find Duncan JBs. They've been around a long time. It's one HOT pickup, btw. Lots of output (16.4k) about double the output of a PAF type.

Because the lower the impedance of a pup-the creamier the sound/tone. More higher-more harsh which is why you'll find that the majority of people using higher output pups use lower value pots. And from memory the SD JB pup they sell is not the REAL pup Seymour wound for Jeff when he made his 2 x HB Tele. They were never available to the public.
