I have one of the WD 500GB ones and it's not too bad for $60. Just be careful when you first plug it in, it wants to install a bunch of software the first time. It'll make the PC run faster because it "consolidates fragmented files and folders on your computer's hard disk, so that each occupies a single, contiguous space on the volume." To open Disk Defragmenter, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Defragmenter.
