rocketman
and I'm really starting to like the guitar too (been playing a lot of them). Hmm, maybe I'll need to do a little post-Christmas shopping. It's a Fireburst:
Cruznolfart
I haven't played one yet, RM, but have seen a few. If I bought strictly with my eyes I'd have dropped the hammer on one a long time ago. That's a unique color, nice finish.

cdntac
Bought one about a month ago...though in Santana Yellow. Love the tone and playability of it.
Hector Arcadius
PRS offer soooo much eye-candy...! Very nice one mate, indeed!
cwness
Beautiful guitar I play my PRS's most on the time. Right now I'm looking at the 513 like Arenine just picked up. That guitar has such a great range of different tones I want one. CW

ledzep59
It looks like the PRS Cherry Burst I just had. They are damn smooth guitars.

ledzep59
One difference that I noticed is the birds on some of the newer models are just "silhouettes" instead of fully filled inlays. I think the ones that were on that PRS were abalone (the one with a lot of color variations instead of just a white or yellow). Still very nice! cdntac
Mine has the silhouette birds. From what I've read on other forums there are a few people who don't like them too much.
Tim Plains
Seems like PRS GAS is building around here. lol That looks great, rocketman. The silhouette birds are the newer inlays - 2008 & 2009, if I'm not mistaken...and yes, the PRS-oholics don't seem to like them. My SC has them, I prefer the solid bird inlays but I also like the silhouette ones. Aren't they all abalone? They're funky looking, whatever they are. My next guitar will likely be a PRS Custom 22 w/stop tail. I really want something with an crazy quilt top & blue like this one. http://www.gbase.com/gear/paul-reed-smith-prs-59-09-the-guitar-shop-lt# These guys had another one that was just gorgeous but luckily (for me) they sold it. $5,000!! I'll either with a C22 or get another historic LP. I still want a '57 Black Beauty or maybe another R9. (Maybe a Murphy? ) It never ends... Shnate McDuanus
Strange, I thought that these were the Gibson Forums... I wonder if they're talking about Gibsons on the PRS Forums. Just kidding around, folks . Sweet looking guitars!
Riffster
I like those MannMade bridges on PRS guitars, I ordered one for my Stratocaster 3 weeks ago and still nothing...sigh

Couldn't beat the deal he gave me --- $2500 taxes in for a brand new CU22 (hang tag said $3299)! Dunno why I deserved such a good deal but the owner said it was late on a Sat afternoon, the day had been good and he had lots of PRS' waiting to come from out back into the showroom. Too good of a deal to pass up! I put some 10-52 gauge strings on it and now it feels soooo nice. I've thought about going to their Boxing Day sale tomorrow but I don't think I can make it. Not sure if it's a week-long sale. If so I may go there either Tues, Wed or Thursday. I ordered a Tremol-No for it. Was hoping it was going to be here yesterday but nope...didn't make it in time. Now I'm hoping for Tuesday....
