Fixr1984
It's hard for me to see but it looks like the frets are on top of the binding instead of the binding wraping around the frets.
sycephant
That's a tough one. He said he replaced the pickup rings but that really throws me off. The bridge is not right but everything else looks correct but like you said. There is something funky with that one.

GuitarJunkie
At risk of helping future counterfeiters, here are the main issues... 1) Wrong bridge posts. Gibson don't have slots to adjust your bridge height. 2) Neck binding is under the fret ends. 3) Pickup ring mounting screws are too close to the corners, pickup height adjustment screws are too close to the pickups. 4) Volume and tone controls are positioned incorrectly. 5) "Made in USA" stamp is too high. It's fake.
Thundergod
The guitar looks weird at first sight... binding on the cutaway is completely wrong man... did any of you notice? lmfao... and of course what guitarjunkie said...
3dmac
sent an inq. about a fret board pic up close. the cut out binding is fine. It should widen to cover the full top. VOS and reissues will keep uniform binding. Will see what fret binding is like IF I get a pic. Flame On !!
pickypicky
That's a metric TOM. It's Asian! Therefore the posts are metric and Asian.

LPDEN
I asked the seller if the origial dealer sales paperwork was in the case or if it could be verified where it was bought new, he said no. I'd avoid it.
LPDEN
I should add what eBay has done for me is to show the value of a local knowledgable dealer who you can trust to buy and sell your instruments at.

T50
Fake... I thought so! I also think that the openbook curve line on the top of the headstcok is a bit too shallow... it needs to be more prominent. Looking at the body, the entire contour is not looking right. I think this one was the "best" fake I have ever seen on eBay... ;(
