Tim Plains
F A K E ! ! ! The "Made in USA" stamp is about an inch out of position! C'mon guys.... Check out where the screws are for the control cavity backplate - it's screaming "fake"! WTF?????!!!! Now look at this one...... You made me pull my guitars out. How sure of this are you? Gibson USA guitars only? The 3 screws behind the pickup selector on my Custom match the 3 screws on the back of the 'fake' LP. The 4 control cavity screws match the 'real' LP. There's a 0% chance the Custom is a fake. Bought it new from an authorized Gibson dealer and I saw it come out of the Gibson box. My USA Standard matches up perfectly with the 'real' LP. I didn't bother checking my BFG...why would anybody want to knock that off?
bullet22
Yeah - it would seem the 3 screws on the toggle switch plate can move around a little from guitar to guitar, but still, those control cavity screws are miles out.
GuitarGuy503
Fake. No doubt. Theres no binding covering the end of the frets. Dead giveaway.
Slogold
He stated that he has a 100% Feedback. Check upper right corner "Meet the Seller" Only 93.xx%. I never buy anything from Ebay with less than 98.xx% seller Feedback. This is my personal rule specially with big ticket item like Brand name Guitars/Amp. Actually he only claims to have 100% feedback from buyers - which appears to be an accurate statement. In any case - it's not a genuine Gibbo - so let's put it to bed eh..?
