Andre S
Finally ordered a soldering gun, a 25W Welder gun. Now that my dad has a proper soldering gun, I want to install the Fishman Powerbridge. http://www.fishman.com/uploads/products/documents/79.pdf That link is to the instructions, I am going to wire it with the direct wiring. How is the volume controlled, if there is no volume pot? I got one more question later.

Your picking dynamics and amp volume will be all you have if you wire it that way.

I say master tone... How do I wire for this though?
Cruznolfart
I apologize for being uninformed; what is it you're putting this in? And what would you control with a push-pull?

Flight959
Dont forget the Preamp... You need the selector switch for switching between the Piezo, the Piezo and your magnets or the magnets on there own... Regards

If it was my project I'd be going with the second illustration so I could have selection of either mag or piezo as well as volume control. I'm still not sure what you mean by master tone vs. push-pull, though.

Flight959
Thundergod will give some good info on this when he's around... He fitted a LR Baggs to his LP recently (or was talking about it) so im sure when he's about he will fill you in... I remember reading somewhere that there is a different jack with these bridges... Andre S
Do you think it would be better, if I am doing all these mods, to remove the plate in the back and attach new pots directly to the wood? I don't mean the PCB board. I would need short shaft pots right?

Regards I know bryvincent had installed a Fishman to his LP and said it is easier to do the installation for a Fishman because it is one wire compared to 6 or something like that. But how does your controls work flight? the two volume pots and then what one master tone?
