esolana Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 I purchased a Dark Fire about 3 weeks ago, the first thing I did was to update the dark fire software to have the latest and greatest. I started messing with the chameleon sounds and noticed that the Funk , Rock and Metal sounds heavily compressed vs the others. It sort of sound like when a string is buzzing a fret when it;s really not. When using the neck Pickup or bridge by themselves the sound is ok? but when using both is when the problem occurs.
