These should make you feel far less precious about putting the first ding in her yourself! Hell look how long it took for the LP "evolve". Errr.......Two years. By then (late 1953) the Custom had the ABR-1 and Stop-Bar configuration and the definitive neck- and peghead- set angles had been finalised.
