First jam with the new Vox

Today I jammed with my friends on my new Vox and it was awesome.

I was able to get some super tasty tone.

I also finally figured out how to use the tremelo and sound good.

We just improvised a bunch of jams for a few hours and actually recorded a pretty cool jam.

It was seriously the best jam we've ever had and we've jammed a million times together.

The better amp really makes all the difference.

No pedals just the SG into the Vox.

We only recorded one song even though we jammed all day. The song we recorded was a really slow but intense song.

My friend was playing slide on his Strat like a lap steel and it was pretty cool.

We go in our friends studio and hotbox it and jam in it. We turned the lights off and it was pitch black. Pretty cool.

Anyways I only have an iPhone so I don't know how I could upload clips.

We might make a band myspace and put some tunes on it so that would be themost likely way you'll hear me play.

Upload song file to iTunes on your Mac or pc.

Create a myspace/soundclick etc. page.

Post link.

Enjoy gratuituos comments and back-slapping...from us who appreciate hearing anybody's musical efforts no matter how good or bad at least.[thumbup]

Thanks man. I actually have about 7 of our songs on my iPod already (none of the Vox).

The problem is that I don't have a computer. If one of my friends makes a myspace I'll definately post a link.

Yeah I go on the forum via iPhone. It's kindof a hassle.

Typing a resonse can take forever and it freezes all the time.

If I had a computer I'd probably have about 5 times as many posts.

I'm kindof opposed to some technology even though I hypocritically use it all the time. I just think a lot of it is really stupid.

I would only buy a computer if i was rich.. Otherwise that's perfectly good Gibson-money going down the drain.

Lol. My financial priorities are a little unconventional.

I totally understand you, but I think a cheap laptop, dell has some for about 500 dollars, would be very benficial

Just my 2 cents, live how you want though

You see $500 as a Dell laptop... I see $500 as a used LP Special (with p90s).

One brings me a lifetime of pleasure and picks up chicks... The other pisses me off for a couple years until it's obsolete. And no chicks.

My friend bought a laptop about a year ago... Shouldve bought a Gibson..

Whoa! Could you really swing that?

Cool. [cool]

Yeah man! Through the magic of craigslist and eBay anything is possible. It just takes a lot of searching.

Before I got my Vox I almost got one for about $550.

It was wine red and I'd prefer tv yellow but it was cool. I just figured I already have a good guitar and what I need now is a good amp. Not another guitar. Of course' date=' now that I got the amp I need another guitar [biggrin I have no money though.

Actually I'd love to have a computer to edit & mix our recordings.

That would be pretty sweet. Both of my bandmates have computers and recording software. My drummer has an awesome studio in his garage. We have 4 SM57s right now. I'm in SM57 heaven!

Then here I am from the stone age... I have pretty sweet gear though.

That studio reeks of a very particular herbal substance...
