I got this in a gibson cardboard shipping box a while ago with a used Charvel guitar. If you can prove it's your's I'll send it to-ya. I really don't know much about these, maybe these are easily replaced and it says LP SG so I really didn't know what catagory to put it.000_3954.jpg

This got me thinking , I purchased a Custom Shop J-185 EC and no pedigree in the case , so I'm looking at the pre pack checklist and the serial #s are wrong .

Right guitar wrong case ,,, I'm on the phone now ...

Do you mean you bought a guitar and that COA doesn't belong to it? If not' date=' then call Gibson, they may have the original owner's name on file.

...or sell it on eBay. I'm sure somebody over in China would love to get their hands on it. O:) [/quote']

yeah, they will probably pay more for this thing than you would pay for one of their guitars

If who ever's missing it really care's they can always get another one from Gibson. Post a note in the custom shop section or toss it -

The only way Gibson would know who bought it is if that person registers it for warranty info.

Well, Gibson would certainly know which Dealer it was shipped to from the factory for starters...
