led floyd9
The SG I "gotta" have? Well, I've fallen in love with my SG Special Faded, but if I could have 2 SG's, (the first one being my Special Faded) then the second one would be Eric Clapton's ORIGINAL SG (better known as "the fool") before it was beat the crap out of. Hey, you never said we can't go back in time!

cvansickle
The white '61 Les Paul Custom model - a three-pickup SG with a lightning fast neck! I played one in Gibson's van at the Dallas show last weekend. Oh yeah, it's a marvel.

RIPRIDER
My first Sg was a 1976 Standard...wish I could afford a Mint one....I'd like to play an Angus Signature..I'm sure it would sound sweet. I love the Standard I have now...I love'em all dammit..

LPDEN
Anyone have an opinion on the 2008 SG Diablo Guitar of the month? I played one for the first time today. It's very, very, very Red! Cool carved top... 1 vol. and 1 tone control is a variation too.

marginwalker
My dream SG would be either a 77, 78, or 79 Standard in white.
LPDEN
 Hopefully Gibson starts making more carved top SGs   The back is routed too. I know it's not traditional, but I happen to like the look...
GuitarJunkie
The local shop has a white VOS '61 "Les Paul" with 2 pickups, chrome hardware, and a Maestro. That one's pretty close. I also wouldn't mind an SG Supreme with P90s in the transparent black or blue finish.

GuitarJunkie
Just found this article... http://guitarplayer.wordpress.com/2008/04/17/legendary-guitar-the-saga-of-eric-clapton’s-famous-fool-sg/  Apparently, it's changed hands a couple times since 2000. Ian Martin
I would love a '61 Reissue in a Pelham Blue or some shade of 'kelly green' with a bound headstock. Yeah.
GibsonWarrior
If we are talking any SG then it would be either Claptons 'Fool' SG or Jimi's White Custom, I'd then auction it off and buy all the SG's (and other guitars) i could want!! Â Out of the current line up its a P90 Classic you've got to have, its a shame Gibson dont make a Standard with a Maestro Vibrola, but until then theres always: Â

I can only wish..... No, I never had it. I was just saying that if I could have ANY SG, then I would want the "Fool". Sorry for any confusion that made.
