Today is the 20th birthday for my Gibson J-200. Its time to celebrate!!!!!

Well, today is a milestone for my J-200. She is #90370009 which means today is her 20th birthday!!!!!! She has grown into my dependable friend and pushes me to become a better player. To celebrate that, I am posting my first recording ever. I have been experimenting with my new Blue Mikey for iPhone along FourTrack software. I think I had the mike set too sensitive and some clipping occurred on my voice. However, in doing so it made sound like an old time momo recording which I sort of like especially since hearing my own voice is a little horrifying.

Anyway, my 1990 J-200 is still going strong. Here to the next 20 years!!!!!

Today, I will play a lot of guitar while being snowed in under over 20 inches of snow in Washington, DC. Oh yeah, and fight the humidity, or lack thereof, in the house.

Yes, it is played most days. It doesn't live a hard life but its played daily.

What a great milestone!! I enjoyed seeing the pictures and was looking forward to hear what it sounded like, but I've had some problems with the soundclip. The problem is on my end so don't worry. Anyway, congratulations and enjoy many more years with your J-200.
