daveinspain
This sort of picks up from Freak Shows Holy Grail thread. Here is my current short list: 1. ES 175, I tried one in a local music shop the other day.... I had no idea they played like that!! 2. 59 LP Reissue flame top burst, have always wanted one of these... some day... 3. A real 1968 Black Beauty, I don't know why, I have a 2008 Black Custom that's killer, weighs a ton though. 4. Doves in Flight acoustic, after seening a couple posted here in the forum I'm nuts for one.... Any one else GASin'?
MojoRedFoot
I have no need for an arch top but I want one sooooo bad. 1. White ES 175 with gold hardware 2. Martin CF-1, black. Such a sexy guitar IMO 3. Gretsch White Falcon

RichCI
Rickenbacker 360 SG Standard Epiphone John Lennon Casino (Oh! Look above! What a co-inky-dink!) Some sort of bigass jazz guitar Gretsch Brian Setzer model BC Rich Warlock BC Rich Bich The only one I could somewhat justify is the Ric as it's something I could use for a really different sound. I have a really good collection of guitars already (save for a good acoustic) so I'm pretty satisfied with what I have.
Hector Arcadius
I wouldn't mind having a metal guitar. With the below being candidates so far: Gibson Flying V ESP Gus-G signature model Not that I play a lot of metal. But a guitar like this, would certainly motivate me... :-&
guitargreg1993
I am currently GAS'ing for more guitars than i could ever list here, but here's my top 3: 1. 1959 Les Paul Standard 2. Californiaman's Surf Green Tele 3. 1967 SG Std (with full pickguard and lyre maestro tailpiece)

Californiaman
Californiaman's Surf Green Tele Careful' date=' coveting someone else's guitars is a sin. No really, Thanks gibsonkid. That was nice. Save your money. Look around. You'll find one. I'm wanting one of those Vox Virages. I'd also like a Black Beauty with a Bigsby. I'm man enough to handle the weight. Wouldn't mind a couple other guitars too. Mostly all of them Gibsons. The list is just too long to post.
Cruznolfart
The right CS 356 will someday join my stable. And a LP Florentine, the semi-hollow with f-holes version. I still lust after a Blueshawk with a Bigsby. But first I gotta fill the void in my life that was left behind when my SR5000 jilted me. But that's a "need", rather than a simple indulgence. Really. No...really!

RichCI
By the way; the factory wrap is still on the pick-guard... I mention this' date=' so that you will know that the pick-guard is actually black.[/quote'] That's actually disappointing. Before I saw the closeup, I thought the pickguard was mother-of-toiletseat which I think would look much cooler.

milod
All kidding aside, I think the 175 is probably THE classic for comfort playing and the best all-around electric guitar in terms of size and shape as well as versatile sound. Yeah, you can get feedback rocking. So cover the F holes. If you want to go higher on the neck, get a cupla SGs, one with P90s and one HB. I dunno why I don't care for the LP except for weight. There's a certain point of adjustment on a 335 where there's a really special sound I like for blues. And the idea of a Gibson neck on a Tele sounds great to me to combine that sound with a neck I like. Thing is, I could list a coupla dozen guitars I'd love to have, but deep down, I know that a new 175 set up to my liking would probably still get 80-90 percent of my playing time. m

FirstMeasure
I was doing ok 'till I read this thread [biggrin] I need a double neck. I'd like a Double Neck Nighthawk, but that's only in the Dream World. I'd love a EDS-1275 Alpine White, but I'd settle for an Epi as long as it has Set Necks. I've been pricing a Strat Body Double Neck Warmoth Project (SBDNWP), and at a conservative estimate of $1500 when all is said and done I might do the Warmoth one piece at a time over a couple years. I'd make it a Mary Kay doubleneck. Guitars I don't "Need" but want. Les Paul Axcess ES-1339 Light Burst like Ice Tea, Amber, or even Lemon ES - 335 Heritage Cherry. Been on the want list since I saw Robert Plants Guitarist use on back in '91. ES - 175 Warmoth Strat w/ Mahogany Neck and Body Warmoth Strat w/ Rosewood Neck and Body 72' Deluxe Telecaster J-45 J-300 Montana Gold Flame Top Martin Eric Clapton Sig early 90's Eric Clapton Strat, Gun Metal Grey. Something with P-90's like Blueshawk Fender TC-90 Gary Moore BFG Les Paul That PRS with Soap Bar.

rocketman
Well I just bought a guitar I don't need (a PRS). But I also want a Tele and a Gretsch Brian Setzer model (Murph and I pretty much have equal tastes except he likes PRS guitars and I like Carvin guitars...he he he). freak show
Well, I have already divulged my "dirty little secret" once, but I'll say it again: I feel an uncontrollable urge for an R8, probably in iced tea. I definitely don't "need" one, but that doesn't bother me one bit...
