tbonesullivan
Three words: BLUE METAL FLAKE Need I say more? Custom head stock inlay, bound peghead, late 60's longer stronger neck joint, real MOP block inlays, 57/57+ pickups, no pickguard, chrome hardware, and of course the usual rounded neck. Also a side mounted output jack, black foiltop tophats. Yeah, that would just about do it.
NeoConMan
Jeez.... I dunno. Hard to decide.
rockman82
I think mine would be like a left handed SG classic. I really want my SGs to be simple and to the point.
NeoConMan
I prefer the slim taper neck. I like the neck joint at the 22nd fret like the 61 RI, but it's not a deal-breaker. I would rather have a small pickguard - or none at all. A Bigsby on an SG is pretty cool. The Supreme line was beautifully done with the Maple and 24 frets - just lose the gold hardware. And P-90's kick *** no matter what you put them in! If I could have one custom made? I dunno. But I do like shopping and finding the unusual ones. Blackie
One like this ...but just Ebony .......lose the flames...... And one not like this............hard to play when you have a wooden stake through the middle of your guitar ....cause I aint sure I could sleep rihgt with this hanging on the wall........or in it's coffi.......case. Gibson SG is All I Need
Mine would be a black 61 reissue with white pickguard and maestro. All chrome hardware, the sg custom neck and headstock. Finally, bevels right down to the pickguard.
Knights
Mine would be like my SG standard but white with cream binding on the front and headstock. It would have a matching white headstock as well. White pick guard with a dirty finger in the bridge.

Yew
Although, i would like an sg with gretsch filtertron pickups one day, and gretsch style wiring (lots of switches damnit)
drizzt
I do like my Standard HC, don't get me wrong, but my dream SG is this: Neck trough - solid black korina with korina wings(I would lose the set neck as this is much better). Ebony fretboard (without inlays). 50's neck with matching headstock and cream binding. No scratch plate and with white/silver top hat knobs. Nickel hardware - TOM bridge and stop-bar tailpiece. Natural high gloss finish. SD Pearly Gates humbuckers with out of fase switch. Just an example of the wood looks: Unfortunately Gibson will not build one of these.
