Laaz Posted March 7, 2010 Share Posted March 7, 2010 I was listeneing to the radio this morning and a ad comes on announcing W.A.S.P. is playing a club up in Myrtle Beach. I was really amazed to see they are still together and touring. I have been a fan since I saw them in the early 80's with Metallica & Armored Saint open up for them. I think I'm going to check out the gig since I am on vacation that week. Anyone else remember them or have seen them on this tour ? They have always put on a great show. DeVinci13 Posted March 8, 2010 Share Posted March 8, 2010 I saw them a few years ago in a little club here in Winnipeg (The Pyramid). No make-up, no spikes, no weird gear. Just straight up metal. It was a fantastic show. I have been a huge WASP fan since the first album. It was great to see them up close and personal. I got a pick from the show. He had a really cool microphone stand that was hinged at the bottom and could swing forward and back. He came out for one song with make-up on that only could be seen underblack light. The black light was mounted at the base of the mic stand and there was no other lights except for the black light, so all you saw was this glowing, almost skeletal face floating in the air.
