HNGD a new SG 3

Recommended Posts

I finally pulled the trigger and bought this SG it has never been sold before. I'm so stoked that I didn't clean it up before I took the pictures. I bought it at a close to scratch and dent price. It plays beautifully, clean, blues or distorted. It has 57 classics neck & mid and 57 classic+ in bridge. It sounds alot different from the 496R/500T in my V. I am really impressed that an alnico mag pup sounds so good.

Nice, my new Standard just set me back roughly the same amount on Tuesday (would definitely have bought used but can't find a classic white model locally), so sounds like you got a pretty good deal.

Nice buy!

This plastic cover is still on the pickguard. Looks like it's in great shape.

I see you're very stoked with the play and sound. Really nice. Congrats! ;)

[blink] Wow! Nice axe' date=' how'd she play?[/quote']

Thanks Slayer. It plays great the action is low and the neck is very playable. Although the neck is not as slim as my other slim tapered necks. I think it is a 60's style. It definately does not feel like a baseball bat like on say a Strat. Overall I love it. http://www.kellyindustries.com/guitars/gibson_sg3.html

Rewd.
