SG w/factory coil split - nitro or lacquer finish?

Recommended Posts

Anyone know if the White bodied/ebony board SG with the factory coil splits has a nitro finish or a lacquer?

Any input is appreciated!

Thanks

It's "Shiny".

Split-coils sound good.

But not as good as the split neck pick-up on a Les Paul Traditional Pro.

Other than that, they sound just like any SG.

White looks nice, especially with that fretboard.

If you buy one in person, check to see that there are no spots or blemishes in the paint.

White is one of the harder colors to paint.

The one I saw, had a spot just below the bridge.

It looked like someone put a dot on it with a Sharpie, then wiped it off, but it was in the paint.

Online retailers who carry this model list the color as "Full Gloss White Lacquer".
