I'm not sure if you'd call them "great" though..lol. People were talking about how amazing anvil is when the movie came out. I think the dust is starting to settle and are realizing the reason 'metal on metal' was never a huge hit was because it was all in all a pretty bad song. They used to plays the bar circuit up in Albany' date=' NY back in the day. Always put on a great live show. saturn Posted March 22, 2010 Share Posted March 22, 2010 This band was big locally, and still get airplay in Baltimore. But they never made it nationally. Too bad. Great musicians and songwriters. Maybe part of the problem is that all their songs are different, and it's hard to catergorize them. Remember this was late 70's and 80s ;) Here's a good one with the "Lola" vibe.
