Cheaper than regular stores?? Like, let's say you wanted a LP Standard for Example, would it be less than retail? ie: GC, MF, Sweetwater, ect.

All help would be appreciated since I'm going to the Guitar Show in Dallas Tommorrow. Thanks!! [blink]

They're cheaper if they have to be.

If not, prices will be jacked up to cover the added expense.

I bought my 2000 LP at a guitar show at the Astrodome in Houston.

Got an absolute SMOKIN' deal on it - almost half off MSRP according to the tag.

I managed to steal that guitar for $2,500 plus tax when the tag said MSRP was $4,500.

A year later, I was talking to Gibson about it and the guy was giving me all the info he had.

Including the list price.

Actual MSRP was $3,900.

Still got a good deal, but not what I thought.

Seen it at all kinds of shows.

Gun shows, home/garden shows, motorcycle shows, car shows, boat shows, camper/RV shows.

Internet has changed that, but those guys will still get away with it if they can.
