should I sell my stock pickups?

Hey guys,

I'm having the pups in my faded switched to 57' classics from the stock 490's. Would it be wise to hold onto the 490's, or just sell em' to help fund the 57' purchases?

I don't intend to ever sell the guitar, but who knows. I'm thinking the guitar would be worth more with 57's in it anyway.

Thanks.

Keep em.

You never know if you find a guitar in a yard sale with ****y pups and u want to change em.

Dem00n's right on the money.

Never hurts to have a set of pickups laying around that you know are good to go.

Selling them won't net you sh!t for money, there's not a big demand for them.

Mark them with a piece of tape on the leads, put 'em in Ziploc bags, put 'em in a drawer somewhere.

When I got my first LP it was a 57 Jr. I took the P90 out of it and put a

mini humbucker in it. Guess who still has the P90.

Thanks for all of the other comments, guys. I'll most likely keep em', but Yoda, if I decide to sell them, I'll let ya know.
